Two Step Performance (TSP) is a leader in Honda and Acura performance parts — best known for their KTuner and ECU tuning systems. When they first partnered with Profit Pulse Media, they had never run paid ads before. Every order came organically through forums, SEO, or community buzz.
The challenge? Build a profitable paid media system from the ground up, in a competitive, high-SKU eCommerce environment — and sustain that performance at scale.
Challenge
When TSP came to Profit Pulse Media, they faced several key challenges common to scaling auto parts brands:
Thousands of SKUs and variants creating feed complexity
No historical ad data (starting from zero)
High competition with similar products
Need for accurate attribution across Google and Meta
Unoptimized product pages, especially for top-selling SKUs like the KTuner
They needed a partner who could not just “run ads,” but build a growth engine from scratch, one that could consistently generate high-intent traffic, strong ROAS, and repeat buyers.
Strategy: The Full-Funnel Growth System

1️⃣ Google Merchant Feed Optimization (The Foundation)
Since Google is responsible for ~80% of the brand’s success, this became our #1 focus area once we discovered it.
We:
Built a fully optimized Google Merchant Center feed from scratch.
Audited every product variant (thousands of SKUs) and systematically removed underperforming or low-margin products to focus ad budget on top converters.
Continuously improved product titles, descriptions, and structured data using high-intent keywords (based on search query reports).
Added custom labels to group products by margin, popularity, and price range, giving us granular control over campaign bidding.

2️⃣ Account Structure Engineering
We designed a tiered account structure that aligned with intent and profitability:
Tier 1: High-converting hero SKUs (e.g., KTuner) PMax campaigns
Tier 2: Mid-range products and accessories — discovery + search blend.
Tier 3: Seasonal or experimental SKUs(we call zombies) , limited budget, data-gathering phase.
This framework allowed us to scale aggressively while maintaining profitability across all categories.
3️⃣ Creative & Cross-Platform Synergy
While Google drove the majority of performance, Meta played a key supporting role.
We launched Meta retargeting and awareness campaigns that:
Drove traffic for key product categories and bundled offers.
Re-engaged high-intent visitors from Google (via Meta pixel audiences).
Focused creative energy around the KTuner and its performance results — user stories, install showcases, and testimonial-style creatives.
4️⃣ Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) on Hero Product
The KTuner, TSP’s best-selling product, accounts for a significant percentage of overall sales.
By analyzing heatmaps and post-purchase feedback, we:
Rebuilt the product page with clearer value props and simplified CTAs.
Added credibility through install videos, FAQs, and trust badges.
Adjusted layout for mobile-first buyers (most of their conversions).
The result: +78% improvement in CVR on this page alone, which had a compounding effect across the entire funnel.
